I am glad to hear that LaunchPad is maintaining neutrality in political campaigns. I feel it would be inappropriate for a social networking site to endorse a candidate. It would be interesting to take a direct confidential vote of all network members and have the results published online. To me neutrality means having a policy of equal access and equal time for all candidates.
At face value I like the sound of Steve's platform, and so I look forward to hearing the same from the other County Commissioner candidates in the LaunchPad Boost. This is a great means by which our community can become a better educated electorate.
Hi, I would like to have seen some cut always instead of a talking head..... some illustrations of some sort on the screen.. some 'actual people' talking about what the entrepreneurial centre and what it's done to / for them; when I see a lecture, I usually click out of it.. were it not for my interest in this community i would have done the same thing..... if i am to listen to a non visual style' of pitch, I want something to demonstrate / illustrate what is being said... or go over to the radio, ...give me that or a double brandy and pay me to watch a 'talking head'. sorry, but i know i am voicing what hundreds are thinking...deal is, i am not running for office, so I can be honest and exercise my civil rights and state an honest and unedited opinion. Video is for image, not voice... voice over, yes, but not a lecture with no relief of images to support what's being said. Challenge me if you want to..... Petrushka
