One of the main reasons I'm excited about being part of Get Listed University is the integrity of the Get Listed Faculty and the complete transparency of the conference series and what we're setting out to accomplish.  I also greatly value the friendships I've developed with the other presenters and the fact that we have an absolute blast meeting business owners from all around the country and talking about something we're all passionate about.

That said, it's tough.  Like any other business, there are big challenges in doin' that thing you do.  Get Listed Founder David Mihm just wrote an amazingly authentic, transparent, and insightful blog post about joys and challenges of launching a national conference series.  He even listed every single review (good or bad) ever received.  It's really great being a part of something that sets out to achieve a greater good and have someone I respect as much as David leading the charge.

Who inspires you in your work? I'm also curious how much you share (in terms of transparency)?  How important is the leadership you follow at your company or those in the past?  Who are the people you've respected along the way that made you who you are today and motivated you to achieve greater things for yourself or your organization?  I'm a firm believer in the importance of mentors, role models, and inspiration in the workplace and would love to hear about yours.
