I jot down notes for my novel in progress, making the dogs sit/stay for their Vitabone treats. But, as my husband likes to point out, multi-tasking has its drawbacks. When I’m doing too many activities at once, no one activity gets done well. The meat gets overcooked. The dogs don’t get my full attention. If someone in the family speaks to me, I may not really be listening.
