I found this article from Yes! magazine to be inspiring: "In a time of layoffs and outsourcing, something surprising is happening in San Francisco and New York: manufacturing jobs are on the rise."

Key to the success of this wave of urban manufacturing are agencies that provide training, classes, workshops and "play matchmaker for entrepreneurs and manufacturers."  Hmmm... Bill?  Allen?  Does that sound like anything you might be a part of?  What would it take to get something similar going here in Spokane?  Whatever it is, I'd be thrilled to lend a hand.
