Personal Message to All LaunchPad Members and Partners from Bill Kalivas

I wanted to communicate some exciting news about the LaunchPad Team and also some news about me personally.

Over the past few months, we have been working hard to transition the day to day operational tasks of LaunchPad to our wonderful team consisting of Zan Deery, our Membership and Event Coordinator, as well as my business partner Allen Battle. I am confident in the continued growth of LaunchPad, our events and the Launch Spokane Startup Program.

Additionally, Monique Cotton, Principle of DMC Communications and Co-Host of the Launch Spokane Business Talk Show, will be expanding her work with LaunchPad to helping specifically in the areas of
strategic communications and sponsorships.

LaunchPad is in very good hands with this great team!

Some news for me personally, I have accepted a position with 2nd Watch, a Liberty Lake startup company founded in 2010 that provides unique cloud computing solutions and services. 2nd Watch is a key partner with Amazon Web Services, you can learn more about them by visiting www.2ndwatch.com.

I want to assure you, I will continue to be deeply involved as the majority owner of LaunchPad and the Launch Spokane Program. I would also like to encourage you to attend some of our networking events as a way to connect and build your professional network. You can check out our events here.

While I am obviously excited about my new opportunity at 2nd Watch, I will continue to be involved with LaunchPad to include strategic planning, moderating events, co-hosting the Launch Spokane TV Show Segments which can ve seen on www.launchspokane.com and on Invest NW each Sunday at 7:30 am on KHQ-TV, Channel 6. I will also be closely involved as we continue to develop the Launch Spokane mentoring program for startups.

I sincerely appreciate your support and participation in our programs and am committed to not only sustaining, but also growing the LaunchPad Media Network, our events and the Launch Spokane program moving forward.
