We attended a holiday party at the home of a client who recently moved to a beautiful south hill home.  The home was in their price range and after looking at many, many homes, they determined it to be "perfect".  I was pleased to be one of the important links between renting and home ownership.  As with all transactions, I wanted everything to go smoothly, but of course hopes and dreams were dashed when some financial issues came up that had to be resolved.  Several weeks passed before the funds could be approved and underwriting conditions met.  Their patience was wonderful.

My friends raised a toast to celebrate their first Christmas in their new home.  Tana and I were honored when they went out of their way to thank us in front of the assembled guests.  This was truly an unexpected and rewarding experience.

I don't need to tell anyone that these past few years have been challenging, but rewards like this one make everything worthwhile.  It's great to be able to help a family into the home of their dreams.
