It’s definitely the season for political ads. One of my friends received 16 pieces of mail from a local candidate—who apparently doesn’t realize she’s not in his district. Another problem: Scam calls asking if they can count on your financial support.

First, local news sources in southern Idaho are reporting that a Mitt Romney supporter received a bogus call asking her to “help Mitt fight for traditional marriage this election.” But the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office reports that the Romney campaign is not soliciting donations right now.
