It’s audition time at Spokane Civic Theatre - Time for some Catfish Moon.

If you’re interested in auditioning for this Southern Fried Comedy, the Catfish Moon auditions at Spokane Civic Theatre are coming up next week. Time to get your southern on.

Catfish Moon is a story of three best friends from high school. An old pier at the end of Cypress Lake is the favorite hangout of three best friends: Curley, Gordon and Frog. An overnight fishing trip brings back a painful reality, but the biggest fish of all time does not get away. Mid-life pressures and the weight of adulthood are lifted by what matters most: friendship.

There are four characters in Catfish Moon. Three men and one woman. And all of the characters are connected.  The three men (Curley, Gordon, and Frog) are all old friends from high school. The woman Betty has a bit of a triangle with the three fellows. She is Curley’s sister, Frog’s Ex-Wife, and Gordon’s girlfriend.
