Where is hope

"I have told you these things so that you may have peace," Jesus tells us through John 16:33. "In this world you will have trouble. But fear not! For I have conquered the world."

I'm glad I have enough theological background to fully understand that verse, my current view of the world today is such that if this were not of prophesy of the future state of things, I might think less of my Lord and Savior. Which would pretty much kill me.
