For me as a “practicing Christian” the only “rub” is in the name (every pun intended). Heck, even by patent laws if you build a Volkswagen you can’t call it a Toyota. The word “Marriage” is very specific. The correct word is Civil Union and I do believe all qualifying citizens should have the right and responsibilities of the Constitution, IRS Laws and love and civility from their neighbors.
