For a few months now I've been hearing that we've established a "bottom" where there are competing bids for homes, something that hasn't happened much the last couple years. Up at the top end, though, it's still a good opportunity for those who want to move up a notch or two in the home market.
Here is a home on Broken Lance south of Liberty Lake that I shot through …

See it to believe it- Kent Henderson Photography
I find myself trying to explain HDR- High Dynamic Range- photography to friends and clients every week, but you have to see the effect to really understand it. I have a quick preview on my website, just a single before & after example. I'm going to research this a little more from my recent Real Estate photo shoots and, next week, set up a blog post with several…

When I'm called to shoot a Real Estate listing (Kent Henderson Photography) it's interesting to see where we end up at. Recently I traveled up to Chattaroy to meet Seth Maefsky at a 10 acre listing with a view of the mountains north of Tum Tum to the west of the property. Here is a link to a few of the pictures- listing post

Recently I had to shoot some evening pictures for a high-value listing. It was a good challenge and the owner helped the mood by sharing a glass of Pinor Noir with the weary photographer!
Here is my blog post on the subject of Night Shots- Click Here

Here's a fun shot. At a recent listing the owner's dog was nosing around and going in and out of the frame. We decided to have him sit down and be in one shot on purpose! (see below picture for link to the listing Virtual Tour)

Official Press Release
Real Estate Press
For Immediate Release
Obsidian Moon Creations, P.O. Box 48642, Spokane, WA 99228, has created a custom piece of software for the Real Estate industry, for displaying Real Estate listings on custom websites. For many years it has been a standard in the world of Real Estate 3rd party providers that would provide listings laid out on a generic page, that an agent could have "wrapped" into their websites using frames. The problem with this process is that…

Note: I wrote this piece with a view toward helping Real Estate sales professionals, specifically. But whatever your business or profession, you may find it easy enough to transfer the ideas into your own situation and put the power of personal storytelling to profitable use. -RS

10-Reasons-to-Be-Bullish-on-Housing.pdf
Although I constantly harp on "real estate is local" the above article poses some interesting considerations. My last post received a considerable amount of response from "sky is falling" crowd but I'm still optimistic about Spokane's ability to…

I responded to the question on Anthony Corollo's blog earlier and decided I should share my thoughts here. The concensus seems to be as long as the supply is greater than the demand we will not see home prices increase. Although I agree with that analysis I believe there is a silver lining in the cloud.... below is my resonse.
I'm not convinced home prices have hit bottom either however I don't believe we are far from it. I am convinced interest rates are at, or very near, the…
