A service connected accident that created major back problems and combined medical issues created a situation which left me unemployable and homebound for many years. The past several years created major challenges and narrowed my outside contacts, leaving me a recluse and struggling… Continue

The Failure of Trust

I've been busy lately developing curriculum for some workshops on team dynamics and leading teams. It's obvious from the daily news that corporations, financial institutions, political organizations and religious institutions have broken trust with… Continue

Did you "Get Motivated" at today's Seminar?

Today's forecast had me dreaming of a day off work and heading to the lake! Being a junkie for motivational speakers, I knew I'd enjoy the day, but today exceeded my expectations.

General Colin Powell was a class act. I was very inspired by his talk on Leadership and more so by his…

Fatty Liver part 2

In my last post I discussed the issues surrounding fatty liver disease. I'd like to delve a little deeper into that discussion and explain how a common ingredient in our food supply is wreaking havoc on our health.

As I mentioned previously, the main cause of fatty liver disease is a diet high in refined carbs and sugar. While this is true, I…

vitamin E treatment improves liver damage in fatty liver disease

To quote a recent study, "Vitamin E treatment is associated with an

improvement in the histologic grade of inflammation in NAFLD

(non-alcoholic fatty liver disease)."
