I'm writing (for the SR business pages) about the search by people to find short-term temp jobs in the market.
Need some suggestions by the folks here: which companies or agencies are more likely than not to have some part-time job leads?
Go Asus. They have a full line from midpriced on up. Asus has great batteries, which most Macbooks don't. If you want a Macbook, they're fine but spendy.

What's happening in stores this holiday season
This is directly related to my job as reporter for the SR: I'm searching for examples of area retailers chaning gears or kicking it up a notch to spur consumer interest this holiday season.
Kits Cameras, for instance, will print out photos for 5cents on tuesday or thursday the rest of the year.
Anyone else doing something interesting in the retail sector here?
