Yes to the Dream, No to Terror

On Monday the 17th of January, alert City of Spokane employees notified Spokane police of a suspicious-looking backpack left along the route of the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. march.  The march was re-routed.  Police and FBI subsequently determined that the backpack contained a bomb with horrific potential, strategically placed where it could do the most damage.  Thanks to these public servants, no one was hurt, or so we tell ourselves.

I don't believe we met last night but I picked up your business card at the Leadership Spokane table. I'm very interested in Leadership Spokane, hopefully the session beginning this coming summer though it's too soon to tell if I will be able to make that commitment.
