My suggestion is to change the color of the logo. The green buy local means you should only buy local organic or green things. I think it should be red or yellow or orange, because buying local means bying anything and everything local.

Something fun or interesting about yourself?
I am developing a network of sincere visionaries who know the value of integrity, honesty, and community in top priorities.

Wellness in all levels of life with the ability to build long term associations with businesses, friends and family is the direction I am going with this network. My current goal is focusing on being a partner with Jon Mason, Product Liason, in the launch of the EZ Wine Guides business.

The goal is to provide a series of EZ guides directed at the wine industry and small business. They are durable, pocket sized, and ez to read quick references to industry products, lessons, events, and other pertinent material. The intended benefit of of these guides is to increase knowledge and interest in the industries and strengthen sales, participation and success. The guides can be used in fundraisers, events, and many other purposes.

I am determined to move up from my service connected disabled veteran stigma into being a viable, productive, and valuable resource in helping the healing and positive growth of our soldiers, their families and their positive growth while in the service and honorably separated from serving. My passion is to initiate a grass roots development of a model Northwest Business Training and Resource alliance center for Veterans and challenged small business owners/launches.

This passion and commitment empowers my volunteer work on different committees and boards to include the following:
Moderator for LaunchpadINW Veteran's Community

Moderator for LaunchpadINW Neighborhood Muse Letter and Job Board

Think Tank, Brainstorm, Think Take, and Just Plain Sharing

Last night, I sent out an extended invitation to friends on Launchpad for a gathering of "thinkers" on Monday the 22nd of March.

I apologize for the confusion. This was a gathering that was discussed with others that are members of launchpad and some who are just my friends who said they were open to inviting anyone interested. I realize it was a last minute invite and for that I apologize. However in my message I also said that if you could not make this one, let me know if you would… Continue

Are you the one?

I was a popular blogger on MySpace for a while. I have exchanged full time internet to full time life and some time internet. While cleaning up a mail box there I was reminded of a blog I wrote that was inspired by one of the bulletins from there... it went like this:

February 3, 2008 - Sunday

One can make a difference - Are you the one?

There are so many options one can choose in life.

Y… Continue

What is success to you?

Throughout my life there are individuals who have laid out a road of "gold" towards their plans and ideas of success without ever asking me what I believe made life successful. I have observed it in every walk of life ... one person trying to place others into their opinions of their boxes of success or being unsuccessful.

Even those of us, who from time to time have been running into challenges will sometimes pull the world's definition of success into our lives and feel that we may not measur… Continue

What compels you to answer a blog?

From experience less than 10% of the readers of a discussion point or blog, actually enter an answer or opinion in the subject of discussion.

A focus on the wine industry has prompted me to start examining the popularity of blogging and what the draw is to the blogger's site.

Walla Walla will be the showdown for the wine industry's top bloggers on June 25-27 for the 2010 North American Wine Bloggers Conference. As quoted on their site, the premier conference for new media and… Continue

Bringing the Launchpad Communities together to share ideas and growth re Buy Local

LaunchpadINW is an excellent tool to gather people from all resources and build positive growth from sharing. We can do it with the synergy of sharing our interests, expertise, and backgrounds for overall strength in unity.

I wrote two previous blogs, started several discussions, and encourage to invite those not reached into this brainstorm on what each one of us can do to support each other. I am going to stop comments in all others but this one to enable the gathering of all input in one use… Continue
