MARRIAGE VS CIVIL UNION:

MARRIAGE VS CIVIL UNION: by Ed Davis PLSFor me as a “practicing Christian” the only “rub” is in the name (every pun intended). Heck, even by patent laws if you build a Volkswagen you can’t call it a Toyota. The word “Marriage” is very specific.  The correct word is Civil Union and I do believe all qualifying citizens should have the right and responsibilities of the Constitution, IRS Laws and love and civility from their neighbors. I think the “in-your-face” attitude of the gay and lesbian…See More

Launch Pad INW a Germinator of Spokane's Start-Ups is Key to Regional Recovery:

Posted courtesy of Ed Davis PLS, Commercial Buyers Agent and Tenant Representative.

The recognition of grass roots businesses and their importance to the recovering economy is valued not only in Spokane, but nationwide.  I saw this article and it reminded me of all my friends that I have met through Launch Pad INW and thought I would pass it on.

How Startups Are Key To The…

"FRIENDING" ON FB: BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!            @RT from my Facebook page. Edward L Davis, Dowers Commercial Real Estate Group and Davis Land Consulting.

Well, they had suspended me for 14 days for being "SOCIAL" on what is supposed to be a SOCIAL MEDIA site.

I wrote FB, reminded them that theirs was a SOCIAL MEDIA SITE and told them other truths (no 4 letter words and all the logic I could muster), which is to state that anyone that has more than a few 100 REAL "Friends" is…

USA vs. Family Household Accounting: posted by Ed Davis PLS

Here is why S&P downgraded the US credit rating

• U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000

• Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000

• Recent budget cut: $ 38,500,000,000

Now let’s remove 8 zeros and pretend it’s a household budget.

Thank you for your advice on the "101 networking." I will definitely look into it when I return from Olympia. I did not use this site to my fullest the last time I was here. At the time I was trying to network here to find Green building companies. Since then I have returned to college, and am currently attending Eastern Washington University. My major is Government (pre-law). I intend on transferring to Gonzaga for Governmental and Native American law. Next quarter I will be an intern for John McCoy House Democrat of the 38th district. I look forward to the challenges that I will be facing. Have a good day sir.

Thank you Ed for your welcome!  I enjoyed my first Launchpad network event yesterday and am truly pleased to participate going forward.  I am also genuinely looking forward to meeting a variety of people/professionals and learning about Spokane industry and how we can grow as a community to grow our economic and workforce infrasctructure while also continuing to position our more "global" outlook and viability!
