Ever since he can remember Chris McIntosh has had a passion for real estate. He attended his first real estate investment class while in the Air Force in 1989 but was held back by a very common monster called FEAR. It wasn’t until 1994 at the age of 24 he purchased his first owner occupied property but started his real estate investing career in 2002 when he turned that property into an investment rental property. During all those years from 1989 to 2002 he continued to learn and study real estate investing.

During a majority of that time he work for the United States Post Office where he received an Outstanding Integrity award for turning in $174,000 he found while delivering mail. In 2004 he decided it was time to slay the fear monster once and for all. This came as result of investing a substantial amount of money to attend a real estate investing class in 2004. By mid 2005 he was investing in real estate full time.

With the help of a coach and a network of other investors he did 17 deals his first year. This was quite an accomplishment in itself but especially so considering his financial situation had taken a major downturn the couple of years previous. He had to borrow money from his dad just to go to class. Since then he has been involved in over 50 real estate transactions as either the buyer and/or seller and he now solely owns over 1.2 million dollars worth of real estate comprised of sixteen rental units and controls another 1.5 million worth of real estate through joint venture relationships. His passion is helping other people “get in the game” of real estate investing. He’s helped his wife, mother, mother-in-law and brother-in-law all buy investment properties of their own as well as numerous other individuals.

His expertise is creative out of the box thinking, if a deal can be done Chris can make it happen.  He also specializes in helping people who are in pre-foreclosure by consulting with them and developing a plan how to best avoid foreclosure. He is a very successful short sale negotiator, private money investor and is experienced at creating win-win-win situations through many real estate related strategies.

Currently he is President of Washington Real Estate Investors, LLC, and Mountainside Management Co., LLC. He is a licensed Broker with Soleil Real Estate Partners and is the owner of Empire Loss Mitigation, LLC.  He is Founder and President of Next Gen REI Club and is a mentor and coach to many of its members. Chris brings his wealth of business experience and real estate expertise to the business of real estate.

Chris is married to his beautiful bride Snyezhana McIntosh and is father of five children, two girls and three boys.
