Bill -
I sympathize with you. I've known you for several years now, and you seem to possess undying energy for helping small businesses in our area. But, when you reach out, it seems that most of what you get back in response are sales pitches.
My wife is from South Carolina. One of the poorest, least educated populations in the USA. But even they attract business. If our community does not jump into action to support business and educate everyone who wants to work - heck, my mind can't even go there. But the idea of South Carolina leap frogging over Spokane is an abomination.
The concept behind LaunchPad is to facilitate online contacts and discussions, helping them meld into face-to-face connections. It's the perfect concept - if only more of the people who need to implement such would engage in it.
