Recently I had a friend go through a house fire, a total loss. His frustration to inventory things in soot and ashes created a lot of stress and tears. I recomend a Free Cloud Home Inventory System, for Insurance purposes Know Your Stuff. This application makes creating and updating your home inventory easy and efficient. With the free, secure online storage you will have access to your inventory anywhere, any time. You never know when a disaster may strike, but you can be prepared with an up-to-date home inventory.

We have a hide-a-bed couch and kitchen table and chairs.  I don't have a truck to move them but if you want to come get them let me know and I will make myself available for picking them up.

Many of you know Damian Fisher, his house was destroyed by fire over the weekend. We have setup a Benefit for Damian Fisher at any Banner Bank Branch for those who would like to donate. We are also looking for any kitchen/living room items you would like to donate.

Your iPhone with OS4 tracks your every move with detailed GPS coordinates and timestamps and then copies that info to your computer, so if either are hacked or stolen someone can see your every move for up to one year.

WOW...you have to wonder what Apple is thinking when they build something like that into the OS.

OK, this is my first post so here goes!

I work for TROI IT Solutions, an affiliate of Inland Imaging, here in Spokane and we're growing in our operations group.  We have several open positions that you or someone you know may be interested in.  We have one Network engineering (IE, Routing, Switching, IP Tel, & Security) position open.  We also have one junior and two Sr. Systems Administrator (IE, Microsoft server, AV, Backups, & SAN) positions open.  The positions come with a competitive salary and the standard benefits including profit sharing, paid vaca, training allowances, etc.

Love any feedback and if there is interest please forward names or resume to cpatrick@mytroi.com.

Thanks everyone!

Psybot is far from the only valid attack against consumer grade router/firewalls. It should also be noted that VxWorks is far from a sure thing. See HD Moore's work which was presented at Bsides in Vegas last year followed by a few other talks (http://bit.ly/eyQG1X).

Periodic checks of software/firmware releases for security devices is a good idea since no matter what type you have they will have a bug or other issue at some point.

Basic firewall issue.  Not any of the below bull.
Comment by Ted Matsumura on March 21, 2011 at 6:29pm
Larry, this is my understanding as well. It was a brute force attack, with a static (set) amount of passwords to try. If you had a relatively strong password, or were running a commercial (e.g. VxWorks based firewall), instead of linux/consumer, this bot would have been locked out after 5 (or whatever admin set) attempts.
