Totally MAC!
I'm the only PC based designer in Spokane. So I guess that makes me unique AND a marked woman at the same time.
Becoming more and more of a Mac fan!
Ease of use is the primary reason, plus comparing these devices to similarly priced PC's - you get more computer for the money with Mac.
All about Atari.... pong plays so well on it!
Linux :-)
The new Adobe CS Line has features that don't work on the Mac version, only on the PC.

That's really not an answer. I am curious: (1) does that mean PC? And (2) if so, why are you so addicted to Adobe products that it influences your choice of platform? After all, there are more alternatives than ever to Photoshop, even if it is (wongly, in my opinion) considered a standard.

I am on a Mac. The only reason I currently run Windows at all -- in a VM -- is for a graphics program I use that is Windows only. So I do understand if that is what you are doing, but there are still alternatives.

PC, but that's my career platform.... not that I don't create colorful metaphors when using :)
PC, when I first started very little business software was written for the Apple operating system. I realize things have changed but most of us continue to use what is comfortable for us just like an old pair of shoes.
PC Windows and Linux (I do have an iPod touch though shhhh!!).
I started out with my first PC (Personal Computer) as a Macintosh loved it had a whole Mb of memory. But in my business environment we use HP and Dell windows OS when we want something to run with less over head we use Linux. So I guess its not really a question of PC or MAC it is what OS does the best job for you guts are pretty much the same. One thing is interesting we have to use a Windows Dell XPS system to process some video the MAC just cant deal with it uncompressed. For home use I use Windows Vista and Windows 2000 server but for my firewall I use Linux on a smaller machine.
I support a fleet of PC's and Macs at my office, so I bounce back and forth between the two platforms a lot. I think they both have their advantages, but overall I think the Macintosh platform is more user-friendly and Apple has made great progress on getting their OS Enterprise-compatible. However, Microsoft has been the de facto standard for so many years now, it's difficult for a company to decide to be completely Macintosh.

I think the distinction that PC's are business machines and Macs are design machines is starting to break down. The Office for Mac suite, the iWork 08 suite, as well as Active Directory integration has brought business to Mac. The recent push for improved user interface, creative enhancements to the Windows OS, as well as advanced options in the newest Adobe Creative Suite (that are PC-only) have brought design to the PC.

At work, I have a Dell laptop dual-booted with Vista Enterprise and Kubuntu Linux 8.10. Also on my desk is an iMac with OSX 10.5. At home I have a Windows Server with Linux and Windows Virtual Machines. I have my choice of any flavor of computing pie and I don't think I could ever settle on just one.
