Comment by David McCauley on February 1, 2011 at 11:56pm This is interesting - I am turning 50 this year was looking for an idea to start an Almost 50's club, or see how many out here want to get together and just plain celebrate the big Five-0 by doing something fun - Not sure cave diving will be on the list until I see the latest Cameron movie, a tropical weekend sounds fun, but may be out of the financial realm for some, not everyone has a hog, so Sturgis may not be possible.
So maybe something closer to home where we could have some fun And maybe contribute back to the community?
How about we rustle up a BBQ or Burger challenge for spring, invite the Local wineries to do a tasting with us, get a few local musicians to play, we do a cookoff, have fun, charge a few bucks and send all proceeds to local charities...
Any takers?
