Remarketing and Retargeting

I've recently heard and seen some activity around a couple online marketing terms: Remarketing and Retargeting. Does anyone have experience with these methods that can offer feedback and advice on their utility and value?

Yesterday I went to a noon seminar put on by Chris Reilly of Unleashed Online Marketing. He went in depth on this and I think he has another one today on internet display advertising and this is one of the topics covered. Chris is very good and knowledgable. Call and see if they are doing it today 11:30 - 1:00 509.368.7337. The series that he is doing on internet advertising is very good stuff. The cost is $40 per seminar, a real bargain.
