Hi Tony.... I was briefed on that suit at a meeting at the SAR last week.  I'm glad you posted it as I've been meaning to check it out.  I have to agree with you that the information they have "collected" illegally is not complete nor accurate.  Thanks for the post!

FYI, for some reason, paragraphs starting with " I take Issue" and "Really" should not have pasted in my post. The Neighborhood City is an Innacurate and false online Realtor Scoring System.

Today I read an article, in the Realtor magazine,  that Neighborcity.com is being sued by two MLS's.

I saw that the neighbor city rep said they had data on 80% of agents nationwide. So...out of curiosity I went to see what my page/info looked like. I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYBODY ELSE TO DO THE SAME!!!!

I take issue with the entire report as it lacks accurate and precise data. I take the biggest issue with the following sentence: "Joseph stands out because of his inability to quickly sell his client's homes, once listed."

Really?!?!! Seems to me my data shows I sell homes in just over half the time of the whole MLS. The last home I sold in Highlands Ranch sold for the highest price in the neighborhood-BY FAR and is the fastest to contract! The most recent home I sold in Aurora sold for the HIGHEST PRICE by FAR! For some clients it isn't always about speed. Also, how do they account for agents who handle a large amount of short sales?

The Realtor mag article is here: http://realtormag.realtor.org/daily-news/2012/05/02/2-mlss-sue-web-...

    What do you guys  think?

Oh gosh.. you don't have to be licensed.. as far as I know this is for anyone involved in real estate.. you don't even have to be a realtor.. I am an investor and also run Hearth Homes, where we house and do case management for homeless/low income women with children.. I would expect developers, mortgage brokers, investors, etc. to be in the group.

I just wanted to comment so that you knew there were people out there who listened in, even if they have not contributed.  I am still studying for my Real Estate Liscense.  I take the test in a couple weeks in Seattle since it appears I can't take it but once a month here in Spokane.

I have not commented since I am not yet licensed, but appreciate hearing what folks have to say.  I hope that we will consider the holidays and that folks are just getting back into things now.  My vote is to keep it going a little while longer to see if participation increases!

I would really like to see this more active too, Norm.  Not sure exactly what the problem is, except that with the economy everyone is really busy.. I am in favor of breakfast or morning meetings, rather than lunch or afternoon.. I am also part of the local real estate investment club and we have realtors, mortgage, investors, etc. Unfortunately, it seems in the realtor arena as with most industries in Spokane, its a competitive rather than cooperative nature, and they want to stay in their own offices.  We really do need to collaborate more to achieve goals. I love the new partnership LaunchPad has.  It really is forward thinking to show us how things should be done.  Any other ones thoughts??
