Spokane Valley Partners ( our local community center in the valley) is holding it's Annual Ladies Nite Out on November 3 at 5:30 pm. It is at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in the Valley. There will be a silent and live auction, heavy appetizers and music. The theme this year is "An Auction to Remember" A take on classic Hollywood movies. You can help support this by donating an auction item or grabbing a girlfriend and coming to this event. it's a lot of fun, I know...I went last year for the first time and it supports a good cause!  http://www.svpart.org/

Just an update, logistically Andy Andrews' (traveling with Women of Faith) schedule is not going to work for a September timeframe to speak with students.  However, I haven't necessarily given up on the idea...just suspended.  Thank you for your faithful prayers!

Thursday, July 21, 7:30 – 9 am.

Topic:  Sharing the love of Christ with those who grieve

Romans 12:15 - Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Gary and Cathy O’Neil, O’Neil Mediation, will share from their experiences and training about how to share God’s love with those who are grieving.  They will relate stories of their personal ministry opportunities and discuss the types of grief, ways people grieve and tangible ways to express love and concern.

We are having an open house to celebrate our new lobby and to raise a few funds for Give Kids the World Village - tomorrow night, any time between 4:30-7:00 - you are all welcome to come by!  Music by Mon Cheri.
