I think it's time to get this group going for the summer. We should start organizing some hikes, bike rides, etc. Otherwise I'll just stay on my couch drinking too much wine.

Don I think you are right - although haven't you moved to the Chaise lounge on the patio instead of the couch??! :)
How about combining the "outdoors" and wine and go to the Sunday concerts at Arbor Crest - not really to active of an event unless you park at the bottom of the hill and hike to the top!
The concerts sound interesting. Are they posted in events, maybe under food/wine?

I have to go buy a chaise lounge I guess. Now I just lean on the deck railing and get dive bombed by angry swallows.
Sounds a bit hard core for my speed! I'm still in training for getting off the couch. I did buy a new Nerdmobike, with a lithium ion battery pack that gets me about 20 miles of range, so now I actually ride my bike. If the ride was longer than 20 miles, I may have to call and have somebody come pick me up with a truck! :)
Not for Donald, perhaps, but for any women wanting to get off the couch -- but not yet ready for "hardcore", another great group is Women on Wheels. You can learn more about monthly meetings, events, casual rides, and a forum, etc., @ http://www.wowcycling.com/
Hey folks, is there a local hiking trail that might be a good place to organize a group to meet up to hike together? I am game, let me know and we can send out an invite...thanks!
Good idea, this is kind of what I was hoping for although I don't know the area trails.
I sent a message to Jeff Johnson who started the Climbing Community to see if he has any ideas. I like the Liberty Lake idea, seems like a nice location that is central for everyone. I think allot of people would be interested in this as a monthy gathering and adventure.
