Please check out the OSH Facebook page and look at the outstanding enlisted military members who were selected Tuesday as this year's Armed Forces Persons of the Year!  Also, please thank someone in uniform for their service to our country the next time you see them. It's the least we all can do!

I talked to Cory Pape earlier today because I was concerned about the large quantity required for the $200,000 donation to this great organization.  He has an awesome dedication to this program and explained to me that the fundraising is on a national scale that will end up providing the funds to their selected organization, Operation Spokane Heroes - How cool is that?  Spokane can step up and do their share and show appreciation ...  invited Cory and his co-worker to the Spokane County Veteran Task Force today so he could share the flyers and info to get more groups involved.  And Yes, I will support the troops and veterans.  You are welcome to join the veteran community as well. Looking forward to helping make this program a success!

I just donated to Java For Joes also.  Please go to their web site and donate.  www.javaforjoes.org.  You can give 1 bag, 1/2 case or a whole case.  The coffee will be sent to our deployed troops and a portions of the proceeds will be donated by Schwan's Foods to Operation Spokane Heroes, so we can continue to meet our mission of supporting the military and their families in this region.  Won't you please help and show your support to our troops!

I just donated a half a case of Schwan's Gourmet Coffee through "Java for Joes" campaign to raise money for Operation Spokane Heroes AND send great coffee overseas to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.  A great fundraiser for Operation Spokane Heroes to support our local deployed military and their families.  I challenge everyone to do the same!Java for Joes
