Weekend Link Roundup (May 18-19, 2013)
Please join us on Women’s Day, Tuesday, March 8th, for a celebration of the strength of women. J.Jill, in the downtown mall, will be hosting an evening of appetizers, music, pampering, shopping and recognizing women from our New Leaf Bakery Job Training Program. The event will go from 5:00 to 7:00 in the evening with a presentation at 5:30PM. Local artist, Phil Lamb will be performing and Aveda skin care will be giving free mini-messages. Come support our women for their hard work and dedication to the New Leaf Program and enjoy some special treatment for yourself as well!

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately these are the prices that have to be set given the cost of putting on the event. However, I do NOT plan on raising them and I would like to try to find a sponsor to fund a scholarship fund for orgs that do have a difficult time finding funding to attend. We'll see.
If you'd like to discuss this further, please contact me personally.
If you are involved in housing issues in any way, you might want to attend this free training on foreclosure prevention resources.SpokaneTraining.pdf
Sharing a post and blog that I find inspiring, informative, and applicable to read...would love to hear some discussion generated from this topic on LaunchPad. Do read through the Comments at the end....
"As a nonprofit, what are all of the ways that your work produces financial returns, directly and indirectly? And who benefits financially from what you do–your beneficiaries? Other nonprofits, businesses, taxpayers or the government?..."
...The upcoming Inland NW Nonprofit Conference will host 2 classes that cover both Financial and Legal Issues. Each class has 2 speakers tag teaming the presentation. If you attend, come prepared with questions that pertain to your org!
