HELP!!!! My name is Joshua Cooper, Co-Founder of DreamCatchers. We are coordinating a Private Corporate Benefit for the Specialized Needs Recreation and need business owners to attend, it is free to come! It is Wednesday, March 30th, doors open at 6:30 p.m. Already, the Coeur d'Alene Bakery by the Lake has donated 250! The local mayors will be in attendance, along with Governor Butch Otter, schedule permitting. PLEASE, email me at dreamcatchersjosh@gmail.com if you would like to attend or have connections with other business owners or persons that might want to attend, or if you think you can help the Benefit in any way. Please help support a local non-profit for individuals with Special Needs! Patty Duke was speaking until she was cast in a show, but we do have an autographed football from the Seattle Seahawks! We need the local community's help to attend this! The Specialized Needs Recreation will be singing and dancing at this Benefit to put on a small show for attendees! Please come and support!

Cadess,

Where is this at?

Local musicians get to post their shows free on our SpokaneNightOut.com site. They just need to set up their free profile and then they have calendar access. Would love to promote this!

RSN PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS FUTURE OF FORESTRY'S 2010 ADVENT CHRISTMAS TOUR AT THE KROC CENTER IN CdA - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2010

RSN Productions, a nonprofit organization based in Spokane, Washington, announces that it will sponsor an all-ages concert on Thursday, December 9, 2010. The concert will be held at the Kroc Center, 1765 Golf Course Road in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show starting promptly at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $12 in advance from TicketsWest, the Kroc Center, 4000 Holes, and The Long Ear, and are $14 at the door.

FUTURE OF FORESTRY is an incredibly talented alternative band from San Diego, which reminds of bands like U2 in their general recordings, and which loves to perform Christmas tours every year. They played at the Service Station a few years ago, and impressed all in attendance with their superior musicianship. Band leader Eric Owyoung got his start in the band SOMETHING LIKE SILAS, which was signed to Sparrow Records. In 2006, the band changed to FUTURE OF FORESTRY (a C.S. Lewis poem title) and switched to the Credential Recordings division of EMI. The band plays both general market venues and churches.

The band has produced a full-length recording and a number of EPs, which include a pair containing Christmas music performed with contemporary flair, and a trio of EPS known as the Travel Series. The lyrical content includes discussion of real world challenges that all people face, and an emphasis on Grace, celebrated through art and music.

FUTURE OF FORESTRY has a number of You Tube videos, including some amazing practice videos shot by a UCLA film student. Their version of "O Holy Night" is an incredible 8 minute video that takes a strong change of direction at the 4 minute mark with introduction of electric guitar. Band leader Eric Owyoung can be reached at 760-429-7774 and eric@futureofforestry.com

KYE KYE (recent name change from Paper Rings) is a 4 piece (apparently siblings) from a Slavic family in Camas, WA. Olga and Tim share guitar and vocal duties, with Tommy on drums, and Alex on keyboard. Their music sounds very contemporary and polished.

PILGRIM WORSHIP BAND is an outgrowth of the youth worship band at Pilgrim Slavic Baptist Church in downtown Spokane. They have performed in a variety of settings, and are excited to play the Kroc Center. The band features two female vocalists, and very talented players on keys, guitar, bass, and drums. They have a very active blogspot page with some excellent videos, performed in both Russian and English.
