October 6 is the date of the Riverwalk Music Festival.  It's a terrific annual event on the river (where else?).  One of my best friends is on the board of directors and his description paints a terrific event.  He's also one of the top jazz sax players in the area and has performed at most every event for years.  In other words, he knows how to stage a great event.  He also knows which bands to hire.  And, they're two of my own favorites:  Soul Proprietor and Tuxedo Junction.
