I am currently working with World Vision's Women of Vision to start a Chapter in Spokane.  I am looking for women to join me especially on the leadership team. Message me if you would like to learn more about this group.

May is National Foster Care Month.

This Wednesday, May 9th, 5:30 pm at Nectar Tasting Room, please join us after work for a networking event and the opportunity to "Shine a Light" on the experiences of local Foster Youth as they share their stories of courage and the challenges of living in the foster care system. I used to be in a mentoring program for foster youth but the funding was cut so I am starting a new mentoring group because I know the difference it can make in a young person's life. Hope you are able to attend. Thanks!

What kind of change can you make with $100? High school juniors and seniors, submit your ideas for a chance to put your idea into action...and even win $2,500! Check out STCU's "the hundred dollar project" to learn more.

Desperately seeking rent assistance for September and have worn myself out calling all the agencies and churches I can - if there is an nonprofit out there who can help me (as I have almost no money), please have someone from that organization PM me or at least give me a referral.  I'm disabled and living on about $400 per month until I can get a job!

My wife and I have a vision of starting adding to our already existing home fellowship with a bakery that teaches pregnant teens cooking skills, job skills, and parenting skills. We hope to find a home that we can live in and provide foster care for some of the young moms. More information can be found at our website: http://www.kingdomstar.com/Bakery_Outreach_Center.html
