In case you missed it, Greg Johnson is presenting "Everything you wanted to know about intellectual property and weren't afraid to ask!"  This will help you clarify what photos and videos you can use in on your website, in blogs and in advertising as well as when and how to trademark. I've been waiting for this! February 21 from 12 - 2 at Launchpad.

Interface College will be hosting a Reverse Job Fair on Thursday, January 26th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  At this event, employers can circulate among the rooms and interview students who will be ready to showcase their skills and talents  in the areas of office administration, medical office administration,medical billing and coding, as well as network administration, web design and computer applications. 

Parking will be provided and there will be time for employers to network among themselves and enjoy some light snacks.

The HSSA  Board has canceled its December meeting and will meet again on Jan. 4th at Innovate Washington (formerly Sirti), 665 N Riverpoint Blvd. in the 4th floor Board Meeting Room from 3-5 p.m.

Perhaps you've heard that HSSA is investing $10 Million to help growth Spokane's health sciences research community. Well, Monday is the first due date for one of our three RFPs, RFP #5, and we have already received 4 proposals for some terrific potential research talent! Yahoo.

Mike Flynn, former publisher of the Puget Sound Business Journal, writes a blog called "Flynn's Harp." His Nov. 9th blog discussed the challenge of access to growth capital for the state's life sciences sector, which continues to grow even when other sectors have not during this down economy.
