Inland Imaging Associates, PS and Seattle Radiologists, APC announced today plans to combine their two professional radiology groups effective January 1, 2013. With the joining of the two groups, the new company will have 97 radiologists and 20 non-physician staff members making it one of the largest professional radiology practices in the Western United States. The combination will allow for a larger presence in Washington to provide improved productivity and cost efficiency while providing a new level of patient care. 

Each group will retain their individual local brand identities. Inland Imaging, LLC will continue its imaging center operations under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Steve Duvoisin, while Seattle Radiologists will continue to operate its outpatient diagnostic imaging center under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Karen Leppert. Steve Duvoisin will be the CEO of the newly formed radiology group.

Inland Imaging Associates has been operating in Spokane since 1930, where it provides professional interpretation services to four multi-modality outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. Inland Imaging Associates’ 60 board-certified radiologists serve outpatient imaging centers, hospitals and clinics in Spokane, Seattle and Phoenix. In addition, the radiologists of Inland Imaging Associates own an IT company, Nuvodia, which provides innovative PACS, RIS and IT services to radiology and other health care organizations and a radiology business services company (Inland Imaging Business Associates) that provides accounting, billing, operations management and HR services to clients throughout the Northwest.

Seattle Radiologists has been serving the Seattle and Puget Sound area for more than 50 years.  It operates an outpatient diagnostic imaging facility on Seattle’s First Hill and provides professional interpretation services for local hospitals and clinics. Seattle Radiologists has 37 radiologists who are board-certified and sub-specialized, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services and procedures including neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac, body imaging, pain management injections as well as myelography and arthrography.
