I just found a site called 3/50. They are all about buying local..

the theme is about supporting 3 local businesses that you would miss if they closed doors.. stop in say hi, send friends, buy products, promote, etc

the $50 is noting that if half the employed population spent $50 a month on their local businesses, it would raise $52.6 billion in revenue each month

it goes on to say that out of $100 locally spent dollars, an average of $68 goes right back into the community through taxes, payroll and other expenditures

then the most important number - 1

Guess what that 1 stands for... it takes one to change and lead others

I recently started noting the wine lists at local restaurants. It is sad to see that some have less than 10% WA wines and few have local wines. Think it would be helpful if we comment we would like to see more of our favorite local wines served at tourist locations.

I found a local company that produces a fantatstic Fly Fishing product. The company is called the Rod Leash and they are out of Cheney, WA. http://www.rodleash.com/

If you fish and enjoy the outdoors this product is a must. Can't get more local then this company. Buy Local!
