That is all awesome!   Karen and Cecile, maybe we can elevate/promote the arts by also posting your comments in reply to my query in the arts community? If so, I went ahead and did a quick blog post about the upcoming First Friday on my LP profile from the perspective of an avid art appreciator.  Feel free to post and promote your events there, just in case!

A quick reminder that not all First Friday venues are downtown, The Heart of Spokane and several other venues up Monroe also present great artists. This month emerging artist Erica Horton will be with us.

Emerging artist Erica Horton who has penned her beautiful and unusual expressions into lovely artworks is the

focus of this month’s First Friday event. A myriad of lines and colors across the paper give way to intricate visions.

Regular hours: 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday, Sunday open Noon to 5:00pm

Erin,

There will be a list of the First Friday venues in this week's Inlander and there should also be a list in the S-R. In a few minutes, I will have the full list posted up on www.spokanearts.org.  It is usually posted on the Downtown Spokane website as well.  If you would like to get an email reminder of First Friday, Visual Arts Tour and other arts related information you can sign up for the Spokane Arts newsletter by emailing me or signing up through our website.

Best, k

Hi!  I'm looking for a good breakdown of what's happening this upcoming first Friday, but I'm not sure if there's a "one stop shop" to find out who's exhibiting where and what the details of their First Friday celebrations are... I want to hit several in a strategic jaunt about town... maybe even just staying in the downtown area.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
