The Commemorative Air Force is bringing their B-17 "Sentimental Journey" and B-25 "Maid in the Shade" to the Coeur d'Alene airport. You can get up close and see these pieces of aviation history in person!

Check it out and get a tour for $5 ($3 for kids) later in the afternoon on August 4th or between 9am-6pm from August 5-10.

Welcome Trina & Carol with Spokane Community Colleges to the Launchpad INW  Aviation & Aerospace Community.

The Inland Northwest Aerospace Technology Center/Spokane Community College in collaboration with INWAC, has developed a free aerospace industry driven course for your business and workforce.

A widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry, AS9100 replaces the earlier D1 9000 (Boeing) and AS9000 standards and fully incorporates the entirety of the current version of ISO 9000 while adding additional requirements relating to quality. All original equipment aerospace manufacturers (OEMs) and many tier 1 suppliers worldwide require registration/certification to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them. This course is divided into two sessions: the first session will consist of an introduction to the standards and the processes for conformance and the second session will consist of reviewing the changes between AS9100 revision B and C. This free one day seminar is being offered May 3rd and 17th, 2011.
