Jake Waggoner, 26, has brain cancer. Doctors gave him only six months to live in February. He and his wife, Selamawit, are the parents of a beautiful little girl and are currently expecting their second child who will arrive about the time doctors have told him he will pass away. Jake is a father, husband, son, brother, friend and a Marine who has definitely left his mark on those he’s come in contact with over the years. His uncanny ability to alleviate any situation with humor and larger than life personality is what many have come to admire the most about him. This quality of Jake’s was a God send to those he served with during his deployment to Iraq with Combat Logistics Battalion 1 in August, 2006, through March, 2007.
