Event Description

December 15th marks our final Quarterly Event of the year and we are going to leave 2010 behind with one more outstanding LaunchPad event.

Get ready to shake off the snow as we break out the tiki torches, tropical drinks and throw a party like no other! It may be freezing outside, but we'll heat things up and make Spokane..."Hawaii 5-Below".

Break out your Aloha shirts, hula skirts and let's party as we network! You'll even see Spokane's "Award Winning" Northwest Hula Company "Halau Hula O Ka La" performing LIVE!

Our atmosphere will be complete with the addition of our Title Sponsor Just Roses Plus! Enjoy fresh flowers on each table and even a marketplace for those who want to enjoy the fragrance of Hawaii beyond the event!

Northwest Harvest is our non-profit partner for this event. Please bring a non-perishable food item to the event to help local needy families during the holiday season. You'll also hear from Julie Delaney, local Procurement Specialist, about how you can help feed the hungry in our region throughout the year.

Seven Second Studio will be on stage with their green screen taking pictures of LaunchPad members and their guests. A Hawaiian beach will be inserted in the background of your photo and pictures will be ready on the spot! Photos are available for purchase, and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to our Non-Profit partner Northwest Harvest.

Admission is $30 at the door.

While exporting this event to iCal it goes into the correct date that is specified, however when you open the event up to get the specifics the date of the event is of the following day in this case it shows up as happening on the 16th  at 1AM - 5 AM.  Anybody have a suggestion to fix this bug?

Oh, this kills. As anyone who knows me knows, I love the tiki! But, I have a prior commitment. Take pictures and POST! Do I dare want to know what I missed? Absolutely! Have a great time! Oh, and one more thing. Anyone else having a Hawaiian themed event and want someone who not only has the Hawaiian clothes, knows the Hawaiian songs, and also carves tikis? That would be me!

Love it, Genia!!

Please share ideas for Hawaiian wear everyone. Anyone else busting out white and/or linen pants? I think we are having some Miami Vice crossover to be honest!

Thank you Ed!

Lori, there is a guy that has a shop near Division & Main or a block south.

He is my age and lives in Hawaiian shirts.  He used to have the best selection in town.

Looking for a local place to buy hawaiian wear for this event?  Any ideas?

Have grass skirt and coconuts...shall I bring them for Allen or Bill to wear? LOL!

I will be there - but I make no promises of wearing a hula skirt :-)
