I would really like to attend this conference. I have had a previous obligation that is unable to be moved at this time. Looking forward to future conferences!

Hi Margie,

We have five SEO's and two representatives from Google speaking at the event. I'm really excited about the people coming to town. I also wanted to quickly point out that you can save $50 by adding a LaunchPad code of "launchpad2010" at checkout. Here's a quick glance at the presenters.

David Mihm
In addition to putting together great local search resources via Get Listed.org, David creates a yearly local search ranking factors document that has quickly become required reading in the search industry.

Matt McGee
Matt is a consultant based out of the Tri-Cities that has been offering SEO and marketing services since the late 1990s. Matt is the Assignment Editor at Search Engine Land, and blogs at Small Business SEM and Hyperlocalblogger.com.

Mike Blumenthal
Mike has been involved with offering web services since 1995. Prior to specializing in web design and search consulting in 2001, Mike was a principal in a family owned & operated retail business for over 30 years.

Like all small business owners attempting to market to a fragmented clientele, he was continually frustrated by the barriers & costs imposed by the advertising options available. Shortly after Google Maps was released in 2004 he threw out his 9 Yellow Page books and started focusing on Local Search.

Mike presents nationally at search conferences & contributes columns to Search Engine Land. During the week, you can find him at his blog, Understanding Google Maps and Local Search, where he writes about local search and its impact on the business community.

Mary Bowling
Mary speaks frequently on the topic at industry conferences - SES, SMX, Searchfest, OMS. She has conducted intensive trainings on Local Search for Search Engine Strategies, Search Engine Workshops, the Denver Chamber of Commerce, Planet Ocean and for seOverflow clients. She blogs at Optimized! and seOverflow.

Ari Bezman and Ryan Howard of Google. While I haven't met Ryan and Ari, I'm very excited that they will be attending the event on behalf of Google.

The final speaker is yours truly. I know LaunchPad is going to have a Q&A with me about the event shortly as well. So there will be more details coming quickly as well. Thanks!
